Why this place

Yingtan's Longhu Mountain is the birthplace of Zhengyi Taoism — the Celestial Masters' lineage has been based here since the Han dynasty, making it the oldest continuous Taoist centre in China. The mountain also has the cliffs and river scenery that made it a film location.

• Longhu Mountain's red sandstone cliffs, with hanging-coffin sites in the rock faces
• The Shangqing ancient town, which is the ceremonial centre of Zhengyi Taoism
