Li Bai's river, a great poet's grave and steel
Why this place
Ma'anshan is a steel city on the Yangtze, but it is also where Li Bai — China's most beloved poet — is said to have drowned while drunk, reaching for the moon's reflection, and where he is buried. For Chinese readers, the grave at Qingshan is a pilgrimage site.
